Shonan was born in Parma, in a room several metres underground, in February 2011. In a short time they write enough music to allow themselves to leave that room and start playing concerts. The sound is a clash between punk and hard rock, the lyrics dramatically autobiographical, and the desire to be heard makes the concerts energetic and engaging. The live activity is constant right from the start and takes the band around Italy, in clubs and on the stages of big summer festivals. After the release of the album Farewells & Pillows and the two singles Uh, Sha La La! and Fall From Grace, the trio releases the single She's A Wolf in 2018, and in October 2021 the second album Kriminals! anticipated by the singles Rocky Roberts and Suburban Hayez. An EP is also scheduled for release in 2025, anticipated by the singles Play Me Something, Playing with Fire and We Were Given Too Little Time. On July 2025, the band went in studio to record new music.
